Delight and defy your senses...

This short safari focuses on what is surely a wonder of the world - the Ngorongoro Crater. This amazing and vast volcanic caldera (collapsed volcano) has 2000ft high walls and is a natural sanctuary for a dense concentration of wild creatures.

The crater itself is nothing short of awe-inspiring, not to mention perception-defying! And on this tour, you will take it in from all angles and explore it in different ways. After a game drive at the crater surrounds, you will take an exciting guided walk at the rim of the craters, spotting birds, monkeys and perhaps something a little larger along the way! You will be escorted by a ranger or Masai guide, who will share their knowlegde with you as you walk and explore.

You will also take an amazing game drive at the crater bottom, descending the walls of the crater to be greeted by lush greenery, beautiful landscapes and many, many animals. All members of the fabled "Big Five" can be spotted here, along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, antelopes and many birds. With a little luck, you might even spot the "Big Five" on just one game drive!
