Safari Adventure

This safari adventure will take you from the shores of sparkling Lake Manyara to the rim of the plummeting Ngorongoro Crater. Equally stunning yet worlds apart, this short safari will give you a wide breadth of Tanzanian landscape in just three days.

At the sparkling Lake Manyara, you will delight at the natural beauty which surrounds you, and perhaps even marvel at the bizarre tree-climbing habits of the famous Manyara lions.

You will then move on to the dramatically different yet equally stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The concentration of wildlife at the crater bottom, where you will take an amazing game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch, is due to the 2000 ft high walls of the crater, which inhibit migration in and out of the area. The sheer density of wildlife here is astounding, and with a bit of luck the "Big Five" can be spotted on just one single game drive!

Luxury meets authenticity

The Lake Manyara Serena Lodge offers unbridled luxury in the heart of the wilderness. This structurally beautiful lodge is access by a small bridge over a stream, and the accommodation itself is centred around a large "vanishing horizon" pool, which affords stunning views over the wilderness below. This really is luxury in the heart of the African bush.

At Ngorongoro, you will enjoy dramatic panoramic views from the Sopa Lodge, which perches on the very rim of the crater. You will be faced with utterly breathtaking crater views as soon as you enter the lodge, and will be able to enjoy a sundowner over the crater from the lounge or restaurant. Staying here, you will certainly get to know the crater from all angles!
