Non-stop wildlife viewing

A fascinating safari filled with rare African wildlife. With not one opportunity for game viewing wasted, you're bound to see the rare reticulated giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich on one of the four game drives you'll be going on.

As well as being imposing, magnificent and staggeringly beautiful, Mount Kenya is the centre point of a wonderful national reserve. It is still and tranquil, and home to many a buffalo and elephant. You will overnight in the famous Treetops Lodge -a fantastic place to start on your 4-day safari trip.

Continuing onto Shaba Game Reserve is another delight, with even the journey there being another opportunity to spot game and have a picnic! Shaba is the perfect place to find many animals which are extremely rare in other game parks, such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, and the long-necked, alien-looking gerenuk. The Ewaso Ngiro river which winds through the northern area of the park provides welcome relief to many other animals.

You'll drive to Samburu on your third day, with an en route game drive providing yet another chance to spot zebra, elephants, giraffe and other lesser known animals, before lunching at the Samburu Sopa, where you'll spend your final night. With this tour, you'll be truly surrounded by wildlife from start to finish, with not an opportunity wasted, and will encounter some of the most breath-taking views East Africa has to offer.

Not only will you stay at the renowned treetops lodge, built from timber with myriad game viewing areas, but you will also experience the luxury of the Sarova Shaba Lodge with its views over the wildlife infested river, and the rugged surroundings of the Samburu Sopa Lodge, where the dining room overlooks a wateringhole and dikdiks can be spotted scampering in the bushes outside the guest rooms!
