Lake Nakuru

Experience a world-class safari on the pink shores of Lake Nakuru, one of Kenya's most popular national parks. Home to over one million flamingos and a world renowned rhino sanctuary, it is located about 160 kilometers north of Nairobi in the heart of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Nakuru is known as ‘the greatest bird spectacle on earth’, with shores that literally turn bright pink due to the over one million flamingoes who feed on the algae of this alkaline soda lake. The stunning view of pink flamingoes lining the shores along with other tropical birdlife saturates Lake Nakuru’s scenery with colors, flight, and awe-inspiring beauty.

Lake Nakuru National Park has vast grasslands, lush forests, and beautiful rocky cliffs that make it a perfect habitat for a myriad of animal species, including the endangered black rhino.
