Location: Tarangire National Park

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is hidden amongst the rocky outcroppings of Tarangire National Park – a park famous for its vast, magical baobab trees and the huge elephant herds which wander beneath them. This lodge offers charm and comfort in stunning and lush surroundings.

Guest rooms at Tarangire Sopa Lodge are spacious, all of which boast a private lounge/entrance area with mini-bar. Each carpeted room has two queen-sized beds with mosquito netting, ceiling fans, sliding glass doors leading onto a balcony, and lovely views of the landscape beyond.

Dining takes place either in the airy and spacious dining room, or at the outdoor seating area – perfect for the occasional barbecue or themed buffet night! There is also a bar area between the lobby and dining room, where guests can relax in total comfort with a chilled glass of wine, an ice-cold soda or a hot tea.

Other miscellaneous amenities and services include gift shop, swimming pool, laundry and baby-sitting service (on request.)

"Loved people, animals, cute hyrax!"

We stayed for 1 night as a part of our safari. I really loved this place! You can see many beautiful birds around, nenet cats, akama lizards, hyrax! Hyrax are everywhere! I wanted to pack one of them and take it back to Greece!!! They are so cute! The staff was fabulous! So polite and efficient! We even saw elephants from the balcony! They spray every night the rooms and we had no problem with mosquitos. Food was excellent! I really loved Tarangire Sopa Lodge!
