Ndutu Safari Lodge

The Ndutu Safari Lodge is situated in the southern Serengeti at the head of the Olduvai Gorge.  It is set in a beautiful woodland beside a small lake, and boasts the mighty and impressive backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater highlands.

The lodge itself consists of 34 stone cottages which extend from the central bar, lounge and dining area.  Each room has its own veranda overlooking Lake Ndutu, and all boast en suite facilities.  The cottages were lovingly constructed using local materials, meaning the cottages blend delightfully with their rugged surrounds.  

Meals are taken in the open-sided dining room.  Breakfast offers both full English and continental options.  Lunch is 3-course, whilst dinner is a sumptuous 4-course affair.  After dinner, guests can enjoy a relaxing drink in the cozy bar, or even sit around the campfire, digesting the day’s events, watching the stars and listening to the sounds of the bush.  Sometimes, the resident genets might even make an appearance!
