Lake Burunge Tented Camp

Location: Tarangire National Park

Lake Burunge Tented Camp is a collection of 20 luxury tents, nestling in a shady bushland grove just 10 minutes away from Tarangire National Park.  

All rooms at Lake Burunge offer large beds with mosquito netting, en suite bathrooms with built in showers, private verandas and views of Tarangire National Park and Burunge Lake.  Rooms are furnished with bedside table and bedside light, luggage rack, dressing table and safari chairs.  Electric lighting and A/C (for charging batteries etc) is provided through solar power.

Lake Burunge Tented Camp offers both refreshing outdoor and cosy indoor dining, whilst guests who are looking for extra privacy can arrange for private dining on decks.  Breakfast offers both cooked and fresh options.  Picnics can be made by arrangement.  The bar (open until the last guest retires for the night) is located on a delightful elevated wooden platform, affording spectacular views.  

Activities at this tented camp include guided nature walks at Lake Burunge, bush sundowners and visits to a local Mbuwge boma (village).
