Spectacular Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha

Safari on the breathtaking shores of Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, the major lakes and exotic bird habitats of central Kenya. World renowned for its avian wildlife, the shoreline of Lake Nakuru turns bright pink with the over one million flamingos that make their home at the lake and the surrounding Lake Nakuru National Park.

Besides being home to over 400 species of birds, Lake Naivasha also has a considerable population of hippopotami living in its waters. Nestled in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha safaris capture the natural beauty of the birdlife and wetlands of Kenya.

Located about 160 kilometers north of Nairobi, Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes, a group of lakes in the Great Rift Valley that run north to south through all of eastern Africa. Home to exotic African wildlife and scenery that just beg to be photographed, these lakes are some of the largest, deepest, and oldest on earth. Lake Naivasha is surrounded not only by the wonders of nature, but by beautiful flower farms and vineyards. Floriculture is the primary industry of the area, and the floral plantations are popular tourist attractions.
