Location: Masai Mara
The Siana Springs camp is located on the eastern edge of the Masai Mara National Reserve, at the base of the Ngama Hills. The camp is set within lush indigenous forests, watered by the very springs from which this camp takes its name. This is a place where you can dream under canvas, delight at the rare bushbuck and the scampering hyrax which roam the camp's grounds, and drink in the stunning Mara views around you.Nestling within the spacious grounds of this camp are 39 luxury tents, divided into three camp wings – Bamboo, Acacia and Palm. Each en suite tent is spacious and airy allowing for plenty of natural light. The bedroom area opens onto a spacious private veranda, ideal for relaxing, reading or bird-watching.
After a long day of spotting wildlife in the amazing Masai Mara, you will tuck into each sumptuous meal at Siana Springs with gusto. Succulent meat and fish from the buffet will be complemented by fresh salads from the lodge's own eco-garden. Dishes change daily from Continental dishes to African specialities and Indian favourites. Desserts are mouthwatering, and plenty of fresh fruit is always available. After dining, guests can relax around the crackling bonfire and enjoy the Masai dancing.
There are plenty of activities on offer which can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. There are two daily game drives, nature walks with a Masai naturalist, cultural visits to a Masai manyatta and birding trips, where you try to spot some of the Mara's 450 bird species. Special activities such as hot air balloon safaris, flying day-trips to Mfangano Island and photographic safaris can also be arranged.
A host of special activities are on offer specifically for younger guests. Under-12s will love the Adventurers' Club, where they can try wildlife-inspired obstacle courses and learn about plants, wildlife and survival skills from a knowledgeable Masai guide. Reviews & Testimonials of Siana Springs
"Peaceful and environmentally friendly"
Both my children and us (and our friends travelling together) loved the place - so peaceful and environment friendly... I was amazed with the spacy tents and the fact that they really had everything. Great shower! The hot water bags were a warm surprise and I missed them when coming back home. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the food and service very good. The around the fire gatherings in the evening over local songs brought some cosy familiar feeling and Patrick (the Masai PR) was fantastic. The visit to the Masai Village nearby is a must - great experience!
We saw much more around than just the big 5, incredible game view, and our driver Moses, from GameWatchers Safaris, had it all - always smiling, a great driver, very helpful and pacient, knowledgeable, I would recommend him to anybody.

"So comfortable and peaceful"
We only stayed here for two nights, but we wished it was longer,it was the highlight of all our accommodation whilst in Kenya. The staff were all fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. The tents were so comfortable and peaceful. The food was great. Our children had a ball running around looking at the local wildlife, and looking for animals at night with their torches. The pool looked great, but too cold for us to swim. The drive past the villages to get to Masai Mara were great, waving children, livestock and many other snippets of village life. I would highly recommend Siana to anyone with children, young or old. Next time, I'll book in for a massage just to top it all off!Margarita from , UAE
