Reviews & Testimonials of Samburu Game Lodge
"Lovely lodge in Samburu."
We stayed here for one night whilst in Samburu. The rooms were very nice, we asked to be moved to the ones on the far right of the camp, which has it's own litle balcony right next to the river. There were Kudu walking past our room in the morning. We did all of our own game drives.
It was great to be able to see the crocodiles so close up and also watch them lazying in the river whilst having a cup of tea.
The pool was very refreshing after our morning drive and before our afternoon drive. We saw oodles of elephants and bucks. Sadly we didn't see any lion. There were some Hippo in one pool and lots of crocs around the rivers.
Beware of the monkeys at the lodge if you have any food as I did lose a bread roll one morning!
Food is very average but is expected unless you go to a very high quality lodge. I think we paid about $200 for a double room, full board.
I would definitely recommend this lodge

"Absolutley Amazing"
This is a great lodge. The Challets are very modern and in excellent condition. The quality of the food was excellent and the service from the staff was brilliant.
Its situated ona bend in the river and even though bthe river was dry when we were there you till get to see plenty off wildlife at the watering holes. The animals can come wondering in of night so the staff escort you back to your room.
On both nights we had elephants outside our room feeding!!! Brilliant. The park itself has an excellent amount of wildlife. We saw Leopard, Lions, Zebra, Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo and all kinds of species of antelope.
