Loldia House

Location: Lake Nakuru

Loldia House has a truly unique history.  It was actually built by Italian prisoners of war using stone quarried from a farm.  It is currently nestled under acacia trees, with the house's focus being the central courtyard, the central arch of which provides a stunning view of dormant volcano Mount Longonot.

The accommodation at Loldia House is nine rooms (set out with four in the main house, a cottage with three separate rooms and another with two separate rooms.)  All rooms have en suite bathroom facilities, with one boasting an outside bathroom. Rooms are furnished in a fresh English style.

There is a very high standard of cuisine served at Loldia House, with the dining experience combining excellent dishes with impeccable service.  The dining room is decorated in a colonial style, reminiscent of a bygone era of opulence and luxury.

Both day and night-time game drives are offered at Loldia House, along with horse riding and tennis on the ranch, boat rides on Lake Naivasha (incorporating a visit to the wonderful Crescent Island), bird-watching and a nearby 18-hole golf course.
