Reviews & Testimonials of Lake Nakuru Lodge
"A superb experience"
The staff here were extremely attentive. Our room overlooked the plains and was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent - so much so that I asked to see the chef, something that I am not usually given to do, in order to thank him for such a lovely meal. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful views down to the lake. We saw the fourth and fifth leopards of our safari here whilst on a game drive and marvelled at the sheer numbers of flamingoes on the lake!Llanelly from Saffron Walden, UK
"Just Beautiful"
This was the third lodge we stayed in during our week safari. Our room was the largest of all the lodges we stayed in with a wall of glass and sliding doors that let you step out on to a decked area with the most amazing views. imagine seeing monkeys, buffalo and giraffe from your room !!!!
The grounds were lovely with beautiful colourful flowers. It had a small swimming pool for the residents and a pool just over the fence that a hippo wallowed in for a few hours !!! The dining room wasn't my favourite out of all the lodges but the food was good as it is in all Serena Lodges. We had a great game drive in the afternoon and we saw Rhino plus a mother and baby, two lions on top of a look-out, a black Rhino and a leopard eating a kill - how lucky were we !! I could have stayed here another day or two, and it was my husbands favourite lodge. Wonderful !!
