Describing itself as “the country hotel in town,” The Fairview has all the modern facilities and impeccable service of a multi-national chain hotel, with none of the impersonality.  The Fairview prides itself on being more of a “home from home” than a hotel, and once you've wandered the extensive gardens and swam in the beautiful pool, you'll definitely wish you were staying longer.

The Fairview opened its doors in 1946 and has been welcoming guests ever since, now boasting over 100 comfortable and elegant guest rooms.  All rooms are en suite, with tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary mineral water and fan. 

The discerning diner has many an option at The Fairview.  Pango is a gourmet brasserie with its own wine cellar, Mukutan Garden Cafe is a great place for a gourmet sandwich, hot pizza or Nairobi's best sushi, and the Mitende Atrium, with its tall glass roof allowing plenty of natural light, is where The Fairview's guests enjoy breakfast every morning.  It has all the charm and style of a pavement café, even when it's cold outside!  For a light snack in the sun after a dip in the pool, Pwani Pool Restaurant offers a range of international dishes.

This establishment also boasts four beautiful bars, each with their own individual charm and appeal.  The Aquarist, with its polished granite floors and white linen tablecloths, really is the height of elegance.  The Water Feature is a stunning place to enjoy cocktails on the lawn, and The Atrium is perfect for those who want the outdoor feel when it's too cold to drink at the Water Feature!  Finally, the Wine Cellar is a cool and classy establishment where you can even book sessions with The Fairview's sommelier. 

The large outdoor pool is open to residents only, and is also a lovely place to relax with one of The Fairview's perfectly-mixed cocktails.  There is also a residents-only gym, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of light and fresh air.
