Set in its own 18,000 acres Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary, the Chui Lodge is truly magnificent. With it's secluded location nestled amongst euphorbia trees and overlooking a waterhole, it really does epitomise the meaning of the Masaid word Oserian - “Place of Peace.”

Perched just above the shores of the wondrous Lake Naivasha in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, this lodge is constructed from bush stone and indigenous woods like acacia, leleshwa and olive. Underneath the beautiful twisting Marula roof are pillars and murals, and intriguing African artefacts. Each of Chui's eight individual cottages features hand-crafted ethnic furniture, its own fireplace, a fine en suite bathroom with marble fittings and a veranda affording a beautiful view.

One of the best ways to spend a day at Chui is to take a day-time game drive, followed by sundowner drinks in the bush, and ending in a night-time game drive whilst on the way back to the lodge. Night goggles are provided for the night drives, optimising your chances of seeing elusive nocturnal creatures like aardvark and leopard. You might even come across a night stalking lion! Other popular activities include fishing, bush breakfasts, horse-riding, visits to local villages, excursions to a nearby rose farm or boat trips. Or, if you feel like it, simply relax in the fantastic pool overlooking the waterhole!
