Location: Amboseli
Laid against the glorious backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, and surrounded by the acacias of the savannah of the Amboseli National Park, this luxury lodge is built in the style of a Masai village and offers one of the best game-viewing locations in the park. The lodge overlooks a saltlick and a floodlit waterhole where you will encounter some interesting game sights.
The main dining area is hand painted and decorated with traditional Masai artefacts, and is reached via a timbered bridge over a meltwater stream. From the comfort of the broad dinning terrace you can watch animals come down to the swamp to drink. A full buffet-style breakfast range is offered, including cooked breakfasts and continental choices. Dinners are sometimes themed, for example Mongolian or Kenyan night, and all fresh produce is sourced locally where possible. For something extra-special, you can even arrange for meals or cocktails out in the bush.
You can also enjoy an acacia-shaded swimming pool, a selection of natural timber game viewing decks and vistas of a water hole for the animals.

Reviews & Testimonials of Amboseli Serena Lodge
"Great Lodge"
We were staying in Serena lodge for one night only, but I have to say that everything was perfect. The position of the lodge within the park is very good, food was excellent also staff was very nice and helpful. I would come back for sure.Honzaa from Prague, Czech Republik
"A very nice Hotel"
It has a very nice setup...perfect to relax by the pool or just look out onto the park with some drinks...we paid extra for a dinner with the masai dancers which wasn't all that great but the dinner ambiance was nice. The rooms are very clean and have everything you could want....always make sure to stay at the Serena chain of hotels, they are worth the extra bit..Shane1977 from Dubai, UAE
